OTHER WAYS WE HELP THE CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY

The Charity was able to help provide a new playground at St Jude House in Crown Point.  Children who are sheltered there with their mothers are able to enjoy a little fun during their extended stay at the domestic violence shelter

LAST SPRING
The Charity was able to present a scholarship to a graduating senior from Lake Central High School. With our help, he is attending Purdue Northwest and studying Advertising and Marketing.

We were also able to help fund Andrean High School’s “Athletics, Fine Arts and Extracurricular Activities” program. These things are being cut out of school budgets and we feel they are necessary for maintaining the overall mental and physical progress of our youth.Type your paragraph here.

In May of 2017, The Buns Care Charity awarded a scholarship to

Lake Central  High School senior,

Mark Layne.

Mark will be attending Purdue Northwest in the fall and has plans to major in advertising and marketing. He was chosen for his hard work and drive to succeed.  The guidance personnel and the Buns Care agree that he is a perfect candidate for assistance.

Congratulations!
